C■ Mary Ann Morris / Editor altrans work crews continue to install a traffic signal at the southbound offramp for State Route 79 and Gilman Springs Road in San Jacinto. Drivers are urged to be cautious as the road has narrowed for construction activities. The $1.2 million project includes the installation of a traffic signal, adding a through lane in each direction and provide 8-foot shoulders, which are standard. Work hours are from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. All work will be performed behind concrete k-rail barriers. The project is scheduled for completion in September.
