A■ By Melissa Diaz Hernandez / Editor rt works of Waclaw ‘Vatz’ Gazinski The public is invited to the upcoming meeting of the Sage Society of Hemet, which will feature Krystyne Gray and Russell Jacobs’ giving a presentation on the life of Waclaw “Vatz”” Gazinski, poet, composer, master carver, and holocaust survivor from 1:30–3 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 9, in the Ramona Room of Miller Jones Mortuary, 1505 W. Florida Ave. Hemet. Following Gazinski’s death in 2013 in Hemet, Gray purchased about 150 pieces of his art work, some of which will be displayed on Jan. 9.
