San Jacinto Police, schools launch anti-violence campaign

SJSU twitterSan Jacinto Unified School District. ■ SJ Unified School District / Contributed In response to the proliferation of violence on school campuses that has recently captured the nation’s attention, the San Jacinto Police Department and San Jacinto Unified School District have announced a school anti-violence campaign called “Cultivating a Community of Caring.” The campaign offers both immediate and long-term activities as well as an overall safety plan. One major aspect of the campaign is promoting the, “If You See It, Say Something” refrain throughout the community and especially at each of the school sites. SJUSD has re-launched its mobile application “Anonymous Alerts” for parents and students to report valid safety
