Eric Dickson, and Project Hope founder Stacie Olson were among the city and community leaders on hand Tuesday evening, Aug. 7, for National Night Out, an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. National Night Out centered in Hemet’s Target shopping center parking lot. The event is recognized by millions nationally on the first Tuesday in August. Other groups participating included Hemet Police Volunteers, Hemet Fire Department, American Medical Response, CERT volunteers, and Hemet’s Homeless Outreach Task Force.
