Fatal paragliding incident on Labor Day

■ Chronicle News Staff On Monday, a person died while paragliding at the Soboba Paragliding and Speed Flying in San Jacinto. During the Labor Day holiday, a paragliding adventure turned deadly within the 900 block of Soboba Road. Riverside County Fire was initially dispatched to the scene to aid someone who had been injured at the Soboba Paragliding and Speed Flying. 25 firefighters responded just after 10 a.m. and hiked up the mountain to rescue the victim. Officials located the person who was in critical condition and immediately began performing lifesaving measures.
