LETTER TO THE EDITOR – December 13th, 2018

Dear Editor, We recently were able to witness all the memorialization of the late President George H.W. Bush. We have a holiday for President Abraham Lincoln who was assassinated. We have a holiday for Martin L. King who was also assassinated. So why then do we not have a day of celebration for President John F. Kennedy, who also was assassinated? All of America experienced a horrific act of terrorism on September 11, 2001. Why do we not have a day of remembrance for this horrific day? A day to remember, to reflect and to thank our first responders? Just questioning. Nancy J. Eller, Hemet
