Hemet DMV offers renewal and registration kiosks

Tired of standing in lines to renew your vehicle registration or planned non-operation status? Hemet / San Jacinto DMV customers can renew their vehicle registration by using the DMV Now: Self-Service Terminals that has been installed in front of the Hemet office. The blue and gold kiosks are now available at the Hemet, Norco, Palm Desert, and Riverside DMV locations, in addition to the Riverside East office where they have been in use since 2010.
These self-service terminals are designed for customers who need their vehicle registration card and license plate tag immediately and do not wish to wait in line. To use the kiosk, individuals will need their vehicle registration renewal notice or their most recent vehicle registration card.
The touchscreen machine offers instructions in English and Spanish and accepts cash, credit and debit cards, and checks.
More than 5.4 million vehicle registration renewal transactions have been completed using the kiosks since the first one was installed in October 2010.
The Hemet DMV is located at 1200 S. State St., Hemet, CA 92543. Business hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays the office opens at 9 a.m.
