Baked potato fundraiser for HHS
Hemet High School’s Grad Night will hold its 29th annual Potato Bake to fund the grad night festivities for graduating seniors on Friday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The fundraiser also boasts a classic car show and silent auction. Tickets are $7 and will be sold at the door. Hemet High School, 41401 E. Stetson Ave., Hemet.

Celebrate St. Patty’s Day at the Mardi Gras Masquerade Golf Tourney
The annual golf tournament sponsored by the Hemet-SJ Exchange Club and Friends of Valley-Wide Foundation to benefit Valley-Wide Recreation will take place on Friday, March 17, at the Country Club at Soboba located at 1020 Soboba Road. This year’s event will be a “four-man scramble” format. Soboba invites all guests to check in and have lunch between 10 a.m. and noon. St. Patrick’s Day bingo!
Inter Valley Vitality Center is hosting a day of free bingo in honor of St. Patrick’s Day at Stater Bros Plaza located at 214 E. Stetson Ave., on Friday, March 17. Join the clan for a fun twist on an old game and enjoy St. Patrick’s Day refreshments and maybe even win a prize. RSVP is required as space is limited. Chamber Mixer at Ramona Bowl celebrates impending Ramona Pageant Season
The Hemet/SJ Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting an evening of fun and networking at the upcoming Chamber Mixer at Ramona Bowl Amphitheatre on Wednesday, March 22. Chamber members are encouraged to bring a raffle prize and business cards to promote their business and get into the “Ramona” spirit. The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The event is free to all Chamber members. Members may bring one non-member guest at no charge. Tribute to Creedence at the HHT
On Saturday, March 18, HHT will host a Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute concert that you don’t want to miss. Doors open at 7 p.m. Brad Ford & Fortunate Son will combine timeless CCR favorites and Fogerty solo hits, uncannily personifying the spirit and grit of one of America’s most legendary rock bands. Local Hemet band performs “The Blues Experience” at DVAC
One-2-Many will perform for DVAC Wine Art and Music Night, March 18th, at Diamond Valley Arts Center at 123 N. Harvard St., Hemet. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the show starting at 7 p.m. One-2-Many will present a “Blues Experience” featuring the music of Eric Clapton and friends, with special guests Rick Hoffman on bass and Rocky Zharp on harmonica. One-2-Many is a local band consisting of Brad Mundwiler (guitar, vocals, trumpet), Lynn Wiley (guitar, vocals), Tim Scott (drums, vocals) and Richard Dinkler (keyboard, sax, vocals). If you have never caught them around town, they are a very entertaining group with superb harmonies and unmatched stage presence. Admission is $20 for members and $25 for non-members.
