Hemet West has announced its April dance schedule, which is open to the public, featuring the following live bands:
April 5 Guitar and Melodies with a Safari Night theme.
April 12 Ron and Diane.
April 19 Skyline Express with a Cruise Night theme.
April 26 Rhonda and the Showdown Band.
These popular Wednesday night dances for seniors are only $5 per person, and includes all the dancing one can muster, snacks, pitchers of water, and freshly brewed coffee and tea. Opportunity drawings for free tickets will be held. No alcohol is permitted. Toe-tapping is highly recommended. Proper attire is required. Dances are from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at 5001 W. Florida Ave., Hemet.
Dancing has been proven to improve your balance, and the repetitive motions of dancing strengthen your muscles. Dancing is good for your heart and lungs, good exercise for your brain as well as your body. It’s a great social activity and helps keep people young. These dances have something for everyone. Come on out and boogie.
