A■ Staff Reports / The Valley Chronicle free workshop on backyard composting will be held Saturday, April 1 at the Hemet Library – no foolin! This “how-to” workshop, sponsored by the Riverside County Department of Waste Resources, will teach participants how to recycle organic resources such as yard trimmings, and fruit and vegetable waste into a nutrient-dense soil conditioner.
