Moments in Time Series Presentation: “Indian Canyon Trail with Ranger Mike”

Learn about early Temecula history
Local historians Darrell and Rebecca Farnbach are the featured speakers for Hemet Heritage Foundation’s presentation on April 10 at 7 p.m. in the Library Room (Rm. 117) of Diamond Valley Middle School. The lecture will discuss Temecula’s history with special attention to pivotal events concerning its Native American people, its cowboys and ranchers, the “Indian Removal,” the famous Wolfe Store and various other characters, places and noted visitors from the olden days. Diamond Valley Middle School is located at 291 W. Chambers St., Hemet.

Career and Job Fair

Celebrate Veterans Day Out

MJSC Eagles Orchestra Spring Concert
The MSJC Orchestra will play its Spring Concert with guest bassoon soloist Cory Barger on Sunday, April 9 at 3 p.m. Music from Haydn Symphony, “The Drumroll,” will be presented. Concert will be at the San Jacinto Campus Theatre located at 1499 N. State St., San Jacinto. Admission: General, $6; seniors/veterans, $5; students, $4. First responders bowling party at AMF
AMF Lanes in Hemet is hosting a free bowling party for public safety first responders on Wednesday, April 12 at 6:30. Hemet San Jacinto Chamber of Commerce – Hispanic Network Meeting
Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Hispanic Network Meeting the third Wednesday of every month. For more information contact Yolanda Saenz at (951) 658-3211 or at (562) 400-4621. Meetings are held at various locations. Next two meetings will be held at the Southwest Riverside County Association of Realtors (SRCAR) at 2355 E. “Tahquitz Turn the Tables on Hunger” kick-off event
The event is going to be held on Saturday, April 15 at 10:00am – 2:00pm at Tahquitz High School located at 4425 Titan Trail Hemet, CA 92545. They will be collecting food donations for Feeding America Riverside/San Bernardino.

SRCAR 4th annual golf tournament
April 21 is the date that Southwest Riverside County Association of Realtors will host its annual golf tournament at Diamond Valley Golf Course, 31220 Sage Rd., Hemet. Sign-ins are at 10 a.m., tee off is at 11:30 a.m. Competitive golf, prizes, food, and fun, including a hole-in-one, closest-to-the-pin, longest-drive and putting contests, raffles, and tacos all day long. “Ramona” at the Ramona Bowl
See America’s longest running outdoor drama, “Ramona” will run at the Ramona Bowl on April 22, 23, 29, 30 and May 6, 7. Tickets are between $18 and $44. The Ramona Bowl is located at 27400 Ramona Bowl Road Hemet. Call (800) 645-4465 or (951) 658-3111 for information.

Recycle paint through city of Hemet April 29
Dispose of those old paint, varnish and stain cans that are cluttering up your shed and garage. Households may bring in any amount of latex or oil-based paint, stain & varnishes. Businesses may bring any amount of latex paint, but there are restrictions on oil-based paint from certain businesses. Drop off location is Hemet Corporation Yard, 3777 Industrial Ave., Hemet. PossAbilities hosts golf tournament May 6
A golf tournament to benefit military veterans will be held on May 6 at Golden Era Golf Course. The tournament will raise funds to allow PossAbilities Golf, a non-profit organization, to provide a free golf clinic for veterans and their families on Veterans Day. San Jacinto Chamber of Commerce Installation Dinner & Awards Banquet
The Installation Dinner and Awards Banquet will be held at The Anchor Bar Club Restaurant on Friday, May 12. Cocktail reception at 6 p.m., dinner and event program at 7 p.m., dancing starts at 8 p.m. $35 per person, or a table for 10 is $300. Formal attire required. RSVP to (951) 654-1645.

NAMI Mt. San Jacinto – Golf Classic at Golden Era Golf Course
The event will be held on Friday, May 19 at the Golden Era Golf Course located at 19871 Gilman Springs Rd, San Jacinto CA 92583. 8 am Registration. 9am Shot-Gun start. Entry fee: Individual is $40 and Team of 4 is $150. The fee includes green fee, cart, goody bag, 50/50 raffle, gift raffle and door prizes.
