Don’t miss Gomez, Morticia and company when “The Addams Family” comes to play West Valley High School’s theatre starting April 20.

Come join Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester, Lurch, Grandma, and all the Addams ancestors as they embark upon a journey to help true love prevail. Wednesday Addams, who lives in Central Park, has grown into a young woman and become engaged to Lucas Beineke from Ohio. Wednesday and Lucas plan a dinner at the Addams home to introduce their families and announce their engagement. They hope for a successful evening, but, since the Addams are a bit “different” and the Beinekes are stereotypically “normal,” the evening turns out to be quite an adventure for everyone!
The Addams Family cast features Christian Arellano as Gomez Addams, Megan Byers as Morticia Addams, Jaiden Heggins as Uncle Fester, Diamond James as Grandma, Josie Aszterbaum as Wednesday Addams, Tanner Levasseur as Pugsley Addams, Jacob Ramirez as Lurch, Caleb Gennawey as Mal Beineke, Mallory Miller as Alice Beineke, and Ryan DeJager as Lucas Beineke.
The show includes a score filled with catchy tunes, including the classic “Addams Family Theme Song,” “When You’re an Addams,” “Pulled,” “Full Disclosure,” and “Tango De Amor,” to name a few. This talented cast, crew, and orchestra are comprised of West Valley students and community members. The production staff includes Cheri Kehler, director/choreographer; T.J. Hepburn, orchestra director and conductor; Chris Downard, Musical Director; and Tamara Griffey, technical director.
Performance dates/times are April 20, 21, 22 at 6:30 p.m., and a 2 p.m. Saturday matinee April 22. All performances are at the Stacey West Bailey Theatre at West Valley High School, 4301 Mustang Way, Hemet. Tickets are $10 general admission and $7 for ASB/seniors/children. Call (951) 765-1600, ext. 214 for tickets.
