Brawl at Tahquitz High leads to charges

brawl broke out on the Tahquitz High School campus on Wednesday, May 31 at dismissal time. Bad blood between teenage girls led to punches, kicks and hair-pulling by their mothers in front of the school, administrators and other students.

A video of the incident, which shows mothers and daughters fighting amidst throngs of other students and school administrators, has gone viral, being shared on Facebook more than 1,600 times and currently has more than 260,000 views. The brawl was also televised on several major news stations, some even as far away as Chicago.

Allegedly the families live in the same apartment complex and have been squabbling for years.
According to Lt. Eric Dickson of the Hemet Police Department, the school resource officer assigned to Tahquitz High School, Officer Dombrowski, was on scene when the incident occurred and charges have been filed against the participants.
