DVAC plein air art show

Caltrans median project meeting
A public meeting to discuss Caltrans’ plan to install a median divider down the middle of Florida Avenue will be held at 6:30 p.m., Aug. 24, at The Simpson Center, 305 E. Devonshire Ave., Hemet.
Family Movie Nights at Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District

Science Under the Stars
Save Sept. 9 for Western Science Center’s annual fundraiser. This year’s guest speaker is paleontologist Eric Scott. Team Hemet Baseball registration for fall season
The season runs from Sept. 9 – Nov. 19. Registration fee for the season is $85. Early registration discount of $10 and a multi-child discount began June 3. Golf Classic to benefit Hemet Public Library reading programs
From 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m., Sept. 16, Golden Era Golf Course Community Center, 19871 Gilman Springs Road, San Jacinto, will host a golfing fundraiser to benefit the Hemet Public Library Adult Literacy and Children’s Reading Programs. The horse show on Sept. 23–24 is a Championship Show for Peruvian Paso Horses hosted by the Mission Trails Peruvian Paso Horse Club. There is an 8 a.m. start time for both days.
