San Jacinto DUI Checkpoint results The San Jacinto Police Department Traffic Unit conducted a DUI/Driver’s License checkpoint at Ramona Expressway at Lyon Avenue on Aug. 19 from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. Checkpoints are placed in locations that have the greatest opportunity for deterring drunk and drugged driving and provide the greatest safety for officers and the public. Checkpoint results included 1,578 vehicles screened, 33 drivers cited or arrested for operating a vehicle without a driver’s license or driving on a suspended or revoked license.
