Mt. San Jacinto College Day of the Young Child
Mt. San Jacinto College Child Development and Education Center will host the Day of the Young Child celebration on the San Jacinto Campus, 1499 N. State St., San Jacinto from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 28. The event will include hands-on children’s activities, food, entertainment and resources to encourage healthy lifestyles (while supplies last). This event is free and open to the public. Pop-up art show
Hemet Valley Art Association & Gallery will be exhibiting fine art and sculptures at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 28 at the Hemet Valley Mall, 2200 W. Florida Ave., Hemet. All are welcome.


MSJC Art Gallery Presents: Annual Student Art Exhibition ART HERE NOW
Exhibition will run from Apr. 30 – May 10 at the San Jacinto Campus Art Gallery, Bldg. 1400, 1499 N. State St., San Jacinto. Gallery is open from 10 a.m.–4 p.m., Monday – Thursday. Opening reception is from 4-7 p.m. on May 1. This group exhibition celebrates the immense talent of the student artists at both the San Jacinto and Menifee Valley campuses. Participating artworks are nominated by instructors whose selection criteria are to represent the best examples and a wide range of subject matter and media including drawing, painting, two-dimensional and three-dimensional design, ceramic arts, sculpture, bronze casting, photography and digital illustration. Celebrate Recovery meetings
Celebrate Recovery meets are held every week at the following locations:

Mondays, 6:30 p.m., San Jacinto Assembly of God, 300 W. First St., San Jacinto. Tuesdays, 6 p.m., Hemet Christian Assembly, 602 St. John Place, Hemet. Tuesdays, 7 p.m., Community Christian Church, 41762 Stetson Ave., Hemet. Saturdays, 6 p.m., Hemet Valley Baptist Church, 1480 N. Kirby St., San Jacinto.


Hemet Public Library
The following activities are held at the Hemet Public Library, 300 E. Latham Ave.

Bark for Books: First Friday of every month from 4–5 p.m. Practice reading skills by reading out loud to certified therapy dogs!

Book Club: Director’s Bookshelf meets the third Thursday of every month at 1 p.m. in the director’s office.

Diamond Valley Writers Guild: meets the fourth Saturday of every month from 9:30–11:30 a.m.
