A little after 2:30 p.m, shots rang out within the 100 block of S. Franklin St. The Hemet Police Department received a call about the shooting and arrived on the scene to discover three male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Nearby witness accounts claimed there were a total of four shots fired followed by a white Nissan speeding away. A Hispanic male was reportedly described as the shooter by one eyewitness
