Tickets are going fast for the upcoming Tribute to Three Dog Night, featuring “3DN” on Saturday, Sept 22 at the Historic Hemet Theatre.
Three Dog Night was one of the most successful bands of the late 1960s and early 1970s, recording 21 consecutive Top 40 hits and earning 12 gold albums. Unlike most classic bands, Three Dog Night wrote only a handful of their own hits. Their classic hits include “One” written by Harry Nilsson, “Easy to Be Hard” by Gerome Ragni, James Rado, and Galt MacDermot, “Eli’s Comin’” by Laura Nyro, “Mama Told Me Not to Come” by Randy Newman, “An Old Fashioned Love Song” (by Paul Williams), “Joy to the World” and “Never Been to Spain” by Hoyt Axton, “Black and White” by Arkin & Robinson, and “Shambala” by Daniel Moore.
