If you have been complaining about the homeless “problem” in Hemet or you would just like to help out those less fortunate than yourself, here is your chance to do something about it on Saturday, Sept. 29.
That’s when the Friends of Valley Restart will hold a fun benefit, networking event, and dinner from 5:30-9:30 p.m. at Golden Era Productions in San Jacinto, 19625 Gilman Springs Road.
Golden Era Productions has a clipper ship replica on premise, and guests are invited to tour the Star of California in the scenic beauty of the Golden Era Productions’ movie studio and landscaped grounds. There will be entertainment on board as people bid in the silent and live auctions for valuable gifts donated by local businesses. All proceeds will go to Valley Restart, the valley’s leading support agency for the homeless. Tickets are only $75 per person, $150 per couple.
There is space for only 300 passengers on this sailing where attire will be “cruise casual,” so make your reservations today by calling 951-544-9573.
