Get ready! Here comes The Powwow!

Soboba Band of Luiseño IndiansThe Soboba Inter-tribal Powwow begins Friday, Sept. 14, and runs through Sunday at the outdoor Soboba Event Center in San Jacinto. Some 15 food and 30 arts-and-crafts vendors will be catering to the public. The Grand Entry, featuring colorful ceremonial Indian dress, will be Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 1:30 and 8 p.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m. Some 3,000 local school children are expected at Friday’s preview event.
