Art Alliance of Idyllwild celebrates 21st Annual Art Walk & Wine Tasting

The Hemet Sunset Rotary is presenting a Festival of Frights, an adult Halloween party, on Saturday, Oct 20 at the Hemet Public Library from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets for the event are $25 and available from Rotarians, at Downtown Deli and the Harvard Street Music. The deadline for buying tickets will be on Monday, Oct 15.
The evening begins with a performance of the original murder mystery, “A Tisket, A Tasket, Who’s in the Casket” featuring Linda Krupa, Curt Welshon, Brian Flanagan, Dan Goodrich, Laura Brock, Lori Van Arsdale, Samantha Lazear and Kyle Condis. Written by Stacey Bailey, this is a fun filled satire of the Hemet Sunset Rotary and several local institutions. The play begins at 6:30 p.m. and will conclude around 7:15 p.m. Audience members will have a chance to guess who is the killer and win a gift basket as a prize.
For the remainder of the evening festivities will continue with dancing, hor d’oeuvres , costume contest and a cash bar. There is a pumpkin carving contest for local businesses. There will be a photo booth.There will be raffles and door prizes. This is a chance for adults to have a Halloween that is fun and festive. Everyone is encouraged to wear costumes.
