The holiday spirit is alive again this year at the Historic Hemet Theatre. On Saturday, Dec. 22, at 7 p.m., the Hemet Harmonizers will host the Third Annual Christmas Sing-Along. Admission is free, with donations requested on behalf of the Building Fund for Historic Hemet Theatre.
You don’t want to miss this wonderful holiday tradition. There is something very special about an auditorium filled with joyful voices – with harmonies surrounding you from every corner of the room. It is one of the best events of the year.
Also coming back this year is the appearance of Santa Claus for families looking for that perfect picture of the kids on Santa’s lap. To make photos affordable for everyone, there will be no official photographer. The public is invited to bring your own camera or smartphone to snap your own holiday photos.
Donations will be accepted on behalf of the HHT Building Fund. Santa’s appearances began on Tuesday, Dec. 11 and will continue until the weekend before Christmas. For an updated list of dates and times, visit Santa’s Facebook page, “Santa in SoCal” (www.Facebook.com/IEsanta/).
Meanwhile, tickets are still available for Rocky Horror New Year’s Eve. Tickets are $15 and include a bag of props with instructions.
Event tickets are available online at www.PurplePass.com or at the theatre ticket office. Ticket office hours are Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets are also available at the Downtown Deli, 113 North Harvard Street and the Harvard Street Music Exchange, 134 South Harvard Street.
