Here we are once again in the holy-day essence. We are all pilgrims on a journey into the “Christ Consciousness.” This month, we will be walking with and celebrating through the recognition of Advent; faith, peace, love and hope. We bring them with us into the Christmas season through our consciousness, through living each one as being the true nature of God.
The qualities of the divine are in and through everything and everywhere present. As we connect with the essence of who we truly are we demonstrate these qualities as and through our own life. We are each called to look within to discover the love and the Christ consciousness of the indwelling spirit of god. The birth of Jesus brings to each of us the experience of the truth and love he represented.
As we talk about the Christmas story we come across King Herrod the villain, every story appears to have one. In this story, he represents the oppression for the people of the time. If we truly reflect on this we have to ask, “What today in your life do you find oppressing you? What keeps you from understanding that the light of the Christ Consciousness is within you?”
We each receive a calling, a call to return to the presence of recognizing the divine power within that is already here within each one of us. When we think about it, oppression is our own error thinking and feeling as if we are separated from God. Truth be told, we can never be separated from God or the divine love that it is for each and every one of us. It is always with us, it us that create the separation. God is only unconditional love, that is all IT can be.
This Christ Consciousness season of love is also that of renewed hope and faith. Realizing life is everyday a gift. Let us each keep a moment or more of gratitude for all that is and all that will be this holy-day season.
I leave you with this Christmas Story….
From the very beginning of time, there was a promise and a hope that there would be one who would come, who would show the way. One who would be a light in the darkness, who would be inseparable from the Creator and, by their very being, would express the truth of human existence. If it had been prophesied from times of old that there would be a child born who would rightfully inherit the kingdom.
One who, by their very nature, would bring peace, balance, harmony tranquility and serenity to this world and all who they encountered. The world yearned for this coming, the birth of this child, the Christ Child, for the universe would not be complete, nor would the world ever be the same again. So, it came to pass in the perfection and fulfillment of time that this child was brought forth into the world.
This child was announced by the angels of heaven that the fulfilled promise had come, for God had become humanity.
A new star appeared in the heavens, for a great soul, a master, had been born into this world. And then, in the innocence and wonder of this new experience, YOU took your very first breath…the gift of love that you are had entered the world.
