There’s a whole lot of rockin’ going on down at the Historic Hemet Theatre these days.
The dynamic concert venue in the center of Hemet’s downtown district is packing them in.
The Tribute to the Beatles, featuring Britain’s Finest last Saturday, became the fifth concert in a row to completely sell out. Fans of the “Fab Four” packed the dance floor and the whole auditorium on their feet to “Twist and Shout.”
Tributes to The Rolling Stones and The Doobie Brothers coming up on April 29th and May 13th are expected to sell out as well.
Now the Foundation has released the schedule for its concerts for the second half of the year. Six of the concerts will comprise the “Tribute Mania” concert series, which is the centerpiece of the theatre’s calendar.
Tribute Mania Series Schedule
June 17 – Visions of Fleetwood Mac featuring Mirage
July 29 – Tribute to Pat Benatar by Jill Marie Burke and Live From Earth
Aug. 26 – Tribute to The Beach Boys with Surf’s Up
Sept. 9 – Tribute to Willie Nelson by Roger Hegyi and True Willie
Oct. 7 – Tribute to Foreigner featuring 4NR
Nov. 11 – Tribute to The Doors by Strange Days
General admission tickets for all concerts are just $22 presale and $25 day of show. All concerts begin at 7 p.m. on Saturdays.
A popular feature with the concert series is the opportunity to purchase season tickets. With the purchase of four or more concerts in the series, season ticket subscribers pay $20 per concert and receive VIP early seating 15 minutes before general admission.
In addition to the six Tribute Mania concerts, HHT will host four additional concerts this year. Pricing and start time are the same as the concert series.
July 8 – Cash, Killer & The King, a tribute to Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley
Aug. 12 – Tribute to The Who and Heart with Who’s Next and Dog n Butterfly
Oct. 21 – Tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival by Fortunate Son
Dec. 16 – Jim Curry’s Rocky Mountain Christmas with the music of John Denver
