OLDlympics – Competition for ALL Seniors
Valley-Wide Recreation presents the 33rd annual OLDlympics for those 50 years of age and older. Compete in bowling, chair volleyball, bench press, horseshoes, golf and more. Events runs from Sept. 15 – Oct. 3 at Valley-Wide Recreation Park, 901 W. Esplanade Ave., San Jacinto. Call 951-927-6673 for information.

Celebrate Recovery meetings
Celebrate Recovery meets every week at the following locations: Mondays, 6:30 p.m., San Jacinto Assembly of God, 300 W. DVAC plein air art show
Plein air artwork will be on display at DVAC through Oct. 7 from 11a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays – Saturdays, 123 N. Harvard St., Hemet. Free admission. “Plein air” refers to artwork created in an outdoor setting. To participate, contact the Diamond Valley Arts Council, 951-652-3822.

Ramona Hillside Playhouse presents ‘Night Watch’
“Night Watch” runs from Sept. 29 – Oct. 8. Friday and Saturday shows start at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinee at 2:30 p.m. Admission is $15 reserved seating and $10 opening night. Downtown Hemet Music Festival
Kaleido Kulture presents KultureVation Dos Sept. 30 starting at noon and ending at 2 a.m. Oct. 1. Free admission. More than 30 performers at five Hemet venues: Harvard Street Music Exchange, Destination Coffee Bar & Bistro, Sweet Baby Jane’s BBQ, Chappies, and Rob Kelly’s After 5 Cocktail Lounge. Rotary comedy night featuring Justin Worsham at HHT
Hemet Sunset Rotary Club presents Comedian and KFI personality Justin Worsham at Historic Hemet Theatre, 216 E. Florida Ave. on Sept. 29 at 8 p.m. $20 general admission, $15 for Rotary members and military. Proceeds to benefit local community projects. 951-658-5950.

Free Hebrew reading crash course
A Hebrew reading crash course is available for beginners and intermediates at Temple Beth Am in San Jacinto. There are five Saturday courses from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Oct. 7 to Nov. 4. The course, sponsored by the National Jewish Outreach Program, provides an introduction to the Hebrew language. Materials are provided free of charge. Enrollment (RSVP) required. Caregiver Support Group
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church will host an eight-week Caregiver Support Group on Wednesdays, Oct. 11 through Nov. 29 from 3 – 4:30 p.m. Meetings will be facilitated by Linda Caricato Capps, MS, GC-C. Temecula Greek Festival
St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church is sponsoring the Greek Festival at the Temecula Civic Center, 41000 Main St. in Temecula, on Oct 14-15. Food, live music and activities for the kids. Admission is $2; kids under 12 are $1. U.S. military, law enforcement and firefighters are free with proper ID.
