The popular Golden Village Palms RV Resort was bustling with activity Monday afternoon, Jan. 29, where the Hemet San Jacinto Chamber of Commerce sponsored their annual “Taste of the Valley” event. Dozens of exhibitors from restaurants and various other service vendors had booths set up in the resort’s clubhouse handing out food, information, business cards and a friendly hand shake.
It’s a time–much like the Hemet Business Expo–when Chamber members have an opportunity to let the community know who they are and what they bring to us, such as food and other services that Hemet and surrounding communities regularly use. Several long standing non-profits were present at this event, including Hemet Library Foundation and Diamond Valley Arts Council, to name a few.
Pictures are worth a thousand words and we tried our best, between nibbles, to get as many as possible. Some exhibitors you will recognize for their lengthy service in Hemet, others are new. If you didn’t have the chance to sample some of the goodies at Golden Village Palms, make a note to come next year. The business community of Hemet and San Jacinto is thriving and they always appreciate hearing from the people.
This was a fun, energy charged day to chow down and to let both the Chamber and the exhibitors know how much we appreciate them. It’s a time to let them know we know they’re here and we’re coming by to have a full meal! Hemet and San Jacinto businesses appreciate the time and effort the Chamber extends on their behalf. It translates into business.
