Greg Treadwell recovering after hit-run motorcycle crash

Long-ago friends reach out to injured realtor

Real estate agent Greg Treadwell,70, who was injured when his motorcycle was hit from behind by a driver who fled the scene, is out of the hospital and recovering. Treadwell says he is grateful for the many expressions of support he has received from friends and members of the community.
Treadwell has said he has no memory of the accident. The silver lining, however, is that he has reconnected with old friends with whom he had lost touch who heard about the incident and reached out to him.
Steve Holt, 44, of Hemet whose vehicle allegedly struck Treadwell, and who fled the scene, was arrested at his home about a mile from the crash site.
According to Superior Court records, Holt has a long list of criminal convictions, including for substance abuse. He currently is being held in administrative segregation at Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside, according to court records.
