Just as the Historic Hemet Theatre (HHT) closes out season one of the Tribute Mania Concert Series this Saturday with a Tribute to Tom Petty, tickets for the second season are flying out the door.
The biggest demand is for the limited number of VIP Season Tickets. Patrons that purchase tickets to four or more concerts in the series pay just $20 per ticket. The special attraction is VIP seating—seating 15 minutes before general admission seating. Only 80 VIP season tickets are sold for each concert. Several concerts are already close to selling out these special tickets.
Season two will start out with a tribute to The Rolling Stones on Saturday, May 12. The “Stones” were part of the “British Invasion” of the 1960s, redefining rock ‘n roll forever. Dozens of their songs hit the record charts, including “Satisfaction,” “Brown Sugar,” “It’s Only Rock ‘n Roll,” “Let’s Spend the Night Together,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” “Honky Tonk Women,” “Angie,” “Beast of Burden,” “Ruby Tuesday,” and “Under My Thumb.”
The Ultimate Stones are without a doubt one of the greatest tribute bands in the country. They have mastered not just the sound, but also the look and energy of the legendary Stones. They have performed from coast to coast and have been featured on AXS TV “World’s Greatest Tribute Bands.” This group first performed at HHT in April 2017, and has been one of the most frequently requested return engagements.
Jim Becker, performing as Mick, has an uncanny ability to look and sound like Jagger. With an exciting stage presence and stellar vocal ability, Becker will make you believe that Mick Jagger himself has arrived in Hemet! The rest of The Ultimate Stones are Rick Harchol (guitar) as Keith, Rich Muhr (drums) as Charlie, Bernie Yantz (bass guitar) as Bill, Terry Myers (guitar) as Ronnie, Bob Campbell (saxophone) as Bobby, Albert Margolis (keyboard) as Chuck and Julz Harris (vocals) as Lisa-Mary.
