Two people were rescued by Cal Fire and the CHP late Saturday night, May 19, after their car went off Lamb Canyon Road near Dump Road and Highway 79 south of Beaumont, then careened down a 50-foot embankment. One person crawled away from the crash while the other had to be cut from the vehicle by Cal Fire’s jaws of life.
