Every second Sunday, the Hemet-San Jacinto Masonic Lodge #338 holds a breakfast fundraiser. This month, over 100 attended a combined event of both fundraiser and an open house, not only to tour visitors around the lodge but also the opportunity to share the organization’s involvement in the community. The $5 all-you-can-eat breakfast of pancakes, omelets, eggs, and biscuits was free for all the fathers this month in honor of Father’s Day.

“Fundraisers this year go to provide food baskets to be distributed to 300 families in the Hemet, Temecula, and Menifee areas.”

Rick Opina, lodge master, says, “Our goal was to enhance the presence of our Masonic Lodge in the community and give our members the opportunity to share and/or describe to visitors some of the civic activities being carried out by our lodge.”
