Beatles concert under the stars at the Ramona Bowl
Join the fun this summer by attending the final live musical performance at the Ramona Bowl at 8 p.m., Thursday, July 19, to hear music of the Beatles from the Los Angeles cast of Beatlemania, a world class tribute to the Beatles. Luncheon forum on safe relationships
Join C.A.S.A. and the Interfaith Council from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at the First Church of Religious Science, 40450 Stetson Ave., Hemet, for a luncheon forum on establishing safe relationships titled, “For Safety’s Sake.” The event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited. Hemet Historic Theatre
Tribute Mania concerts are in season including tributes to The Eagles August 4, and Abba August 18. Showtime for all Tribute Mania concerts is 7 p.m. and doors open at 6:15 pm. Tickets are $22 presale and $25 the day of the show.
HHT also features classic films for only five dollars every Monday and Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.

Hemet Harmonizers Guest Night
Do you get a kick out of barbershop music? The Hemet Harmonizers are looking for men who sing or would, just, love to sing! All talent levels are welcome. Mt. San Jacinto College Foundation Concert: The Fixx
On July 20, the 1980s band “The Fixx” will be giving a special performance. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the MSJC Foundation to support students and programs. The Fixx is known for hits that include “Saved by Zero” and “Red Skies.” The concert will be held at the Wiens Family Cellars, 35055 Via Del Ponte in Temecula. The MSJC Foundation is also seeking students to apply for scholarships. The fall 2018 scholarship application period opens in July.
Arts “Exploratorium” at Trinity Lutheran Church
Starting in mid-July the Trinity Lutheran Church Arts Exploratorium Committee plans for a 5-day arts exploratorium for incoming pre-K through 6th grade Hemet-area students. The focus will be on the arts of music, painting, fabric crafts, and acting fundamentals. Joni Pikard, Arts Exploratorium Committee member, said that in addition to fun activities, the event will include healthy snacks for the kids. The arts exploratorium will take place from July 16-20 during the hours of 1 – 5 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 191 South Columbia St. in Hemet. Hemet Senior Computer Club
The club meets the third Monday of every month from 10 a.m.–noon at Valley-Wide Valle Vista Recreation Center. The club is open to anyone in the Hemet/San Jacinto area who would like to learn and share knowledge of computers, tablets, smartphones, etc. Valley-Wide Recreation Center, 43935 E. Widowed Persons Activities Club
Monthly meetings are held at 1:30 p.m. on the second Friday of each month at the Simpson Center, 305 E. Devonshire Ave., Hemet (behind the library). The group often has keynote speakers on topics of interest to members. The club has 50/50 drawings, card bingo, etc. To ensure a good fit, prospective members are encouraged to try up to three activities before joining.
