Fans of the popular Mexican restaurant El Zarape have always waited patiently for their all-you-can-eat shrimp, taco, and enchilada specials. In August, diners won’t have long to wait to feast on camarones. (That’s Spanish for SHRIMP, baby!)
This Tuesday, Aug. 14, Rocky Zharp will entertain guests dining at El Zarape’s unique Mexican food experience during their “all-you-can-eat shrimp fiesta for taco and enchilada lovers.”

In hot weather, a shrimp salad is tasty.
Rocky is famous in the valley for his beautiful acoustic guitar playing with a blues twist to it. He will entertain guests from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 4:30 – 7 p.m. as they dine in the restaurant’s relaxed, fully air conditioned atmosphere.
El Zarape has been in business for nearly four years, and during that time has developed a reputation locally for having unbelievably delicious food. One could say delicious Mexican food, because it is, but to limit it by comparing it only to Mexican restaurants would be a disservice. It’s just unbelievably delicious food, period.
One online reviewer gushes about El Zarape’s chile relleno and chicken tortilla soup: “Love, love, love they’re chilli relleno combo plate and chicken tortilla soup.” Another says, “I had the ceviche as well as the carne asada burrito and my husband had the fajitas with all three meats, and I have to say, OMG this place was amazing!”
Although there is a small bar, the restaurant itself is not huge, so plan on arriving early to ensure getting a table without a wait. Tuesday, by the way, is also Taco Tuesday, with specials for thrifty diners on those weeks when the all-you-can-shrimp special is not available.
If you do want endless Mexican shrimp, however, while chillin’ to Rocky’s gentle acoustic guitar sounds, don’t miss dining at El Zarape this Tuesday.
El Zarape is located at 4280 E. Florida Avenue, Hemet, CA 92544. It is open daily from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. For more information, call 951-260-3674.

The ceviche at El Zarape is to die for.

The menu cover at El Zarape is fun and colorful.

We forgot to say the margaritas are unlimited too (just not free!)
