Tribute Mania Concert series wraps up second season

The lively tribute band, AbbaFab, will be coming to Hemet next Saturday.

On Saturday, Aug. 18, the Historic Hemet Theatre will wrap up season two of their Tribute Mania Concert Series with a tribute to Abba. The Swedish pop group is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, selling over 500 million records worldwide.
AbbaFab will present a multimedia show with some of the greatest music of the 70s and 80s including such classic hits as Waterloo, Fernando, Honey Honey, Dancing Queen and so many others. The Phoenix-based group features Anne Davies, Chelsea Faulds, Scotty Pearson, Nick Davies and a stellar lineup of musicians.

The original Abba was one of the most popular bands in the 70s with over 500 million records sold worldwide.

Meanwhile, tickets for Tribute Mania Season Three are already going fast. Most of the concerts are expected to sell out before day of show.
The Tribute Mania Season Three concerts will be: Tribute to Super Tramp featuring Fools Logic (Sept 8), Tribute to Three Dog Night featuring 3DN (Sept 22), Tribute to The Cars with Heartbeat City (Oct 6), Tribute to Foreigner featuring 4NR (Oct 20), Tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival with Fortunate Son (Nov 3), Tribute to Neil Diamond with Dean Colley and Hot August Night (Nov 17), Tribute to Queen featuring Queen Nation (Dec 8), and Cash, Killer and the King: a tribute to Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis (Dec 15).

Event tickets are available online at www.PurplePass.com or at the theatre ticket office. Ticket office hours are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets are also available at the Downtown Deli, 113 N. Harvard St. and the Harvard Street Music Exchange, 134 S. Harvard St.

Tickets sales are moving fast and the Abba tribute show is on track to become the third sellout concert in a row.
