INDIO, CA – As the weather cools down and the season for savory meals heats up, Fantasy Springs Resort Casino’s team of talented chefs led by Executive Chef Freddy Rieger have put together scrumptious menus for Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 25. Bonus? No kitchen clean-up! Come hungry to the allyou-can-eat Fresh Grill Buffet which features a cornucopia of Thanksgiving favorites. From delicious soups and a variety of scrumptious salads to a bounty of chilled seafood, the options are abundant. Enjoy your choice of maple roasted turkey breast, prime rib and mustard glazed Virginia ham at the carving board station and pair up with all the traditional Turkey Day sides such as stuffing, mashed potatoes, pan gravy and bacon roasted Brussels sprouts.
Chef ’s specialties include garlic herb leg of lamb, Cajun shrimp boil and grilledto-order New York Steaks. A tantalizing array of Italian, Asian and Latin dishes will also be served. Top off the meal with sweets including a chocolate fountain, pumpkin pie and warm raisin bread among other choices. $39.99, adults; $29.99, children ages 3 to 11, children 3 and under are free. Fresh Grill Buffet will be open from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
The Bistro features a Fall inspired a la carte menu starting with an arugula and baby kale salad or wild mushroom soup with Cognac crème and cremini chips and a French baguette ($12). The main course ($34) includes roasted turkey, cheddar whipped potatoes and gravy, corn bread stuffing with maple roasted sausage, sweet potato soufflé, broccolini Amandine and cranberry sauce. Close out dinner with pumpkin spice cheesecake, fresh whipped cream and cinnamon anglaise ($12). The Bistro serves Thanksgiving dinner from 3 p.m. – 10 p.m. The Bistro’s regular menu will also be available. The abundance of Thanksgiving options continues at POM with home-style a la cart dining. Begin the feast with baby spinach and arugula salad or butternut squash bisque and warm dinner rolls ($10). Segue into savory options for the main course with roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, pan gravy, cornbread stuffing, cinnamon roasted sweet potatoes, green beans and cranberry sauce ($32). Round out dinner with homemade pumpkin pie topped with cinnamon whipped cream ($10).
