Troupe of Lost Souls is at it again

Christmas with the Spirits continues through Dec. 23 ■ Dennis Fletcher / Contributed Rick Baker, founder of Troupe of Lost Souls, has brought another of his highly creative theatrical treats in the form of “Christmas with the Spirits,” a multi-room walk-through experience for children and adults. Christmas with the Spirits continues to run Friday through Sunday, Dec. 21 through 23 with doors open from 7 to 10 p.m. It takes 10 minutes or more to walk through the many rooms in the funhouse setting that Rick and his troupe have devised to keep attendees entertained with the many spirits of Christmas they conjure up. PUBLIC SAFETY BRIEFS – October 25, 2018

Deployment of NC4 Street Smart On Tuesday, October 16, 2018 the Riverside County Board of Supervisors approved the Riverside County Sheriff Department’s request to acquire and implement NC4’s Street Smart software to more effectively fight crime. With the deployment of NC4 Street Smart, we will equip 1,400+ patrol and investigative personnel with the sophisticated technology and critical resources they need to reduce crime and contribute to the safety of the communities they serve, according to a Sheriff’s Department press release. The newly renovated bowling alley at 2850 W. Florida Ave., was contacted by the city of Hemet about its exterior color palette choices, stating that the colors selected were not consistent with the city’s adopted color palette and that they would need to conform with code. Cawston Street closed until further notice

C■ Staff Reports / The Valley Chronicle awston Street between Menlo Avenue and Seattle Street in Hemet is closed until further notice effective March 1. The recent spate of heavy rains have filled most of the retention basins in the city; one of the Seattle basin’s two electric pumps isn’t working. Auxiliary pumps will be installed to drain the basin and repair the pump. (more…)

For the girls basketball team at Tahquitz High, last Friday night was the time and place to do it. With the West Valley Mustangs primed and ready, could the Lady Titans avoid horseshoe prints to the face? Early signs pointed to ‘Yes’, as the Lady Titans scored the first seven points of the game.
